A man has died five days after he was shot at a White Castle drive-thru in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on Chicago's South Side. In the early morning hours last Thursday, Brown was a passenger in a car waiting in a White Castle drive-thru line in the 1500 block of West Garfield Boulevard. A suspect, described as in his 20s, walked up to the passenger side where Brown was sitting and shot him at close range, Kubiak. Brown got into another vehicle and was taken to Provident Hospital of Cook County. He was later taken to Stroger where he died from his injuries at 1 a.m. today. Police idenitified Brown as a gang member.
