Marcus Marshall and Shawntell Harris were killed when two men entered a South Side liquor store at 5701 South State Street and opened fire. Marcus was shot in the head and chest about 12:40 a.m. Shawntell was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound to his head and succumbed to his injuries two days later.

man this is my son maurcus marshall he was 19 and he leaves behind 2 beautiful sons who are 2 young 2 understand and a wonderful girlfriend who bared the kids 4 him and shawntell he will truly be missed 2 they lost their lives 2 senseless actions 2 the point is it safe anymore nothing n the world can bring them back but we will have 2 live with this 4 the rest of our lives and the killer will 2 cause we love ours then and love them even more now
