Police responded to a call of a person shot at 603 North Homan Avenue on the West Side in the city's East Garfield Park neighborhood shortly after 11 p.m. on June 13th and found Michael Stanciel on the sidewalk with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 11:51 p.m.
