Police found Jerry Seals with a gunshot wound to his head at about 10:25 p.m. on July 4th on the sidewalk at 6228 South Laflin Street in Chicago's Englewood neighborhood. He was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 11:07 p.m.
