Linton Goldsmith, 33
Linton Goldsmith was driving a van at about 1:00 a.m. on August 24th when he was shot in the face and killed. Reports say he was driving when another vehicle pulled up and someone inside fired shots into the van. The van struck a tree and flipped over but the five other people inside were not injured. Linton was found unresponsive in the vehicle at 8020 South Jeffery Avenue in the South Shore neighborhood on Chicago's South Side.

ReplyDeleteThank you for covering this story and the impact of these horrible crimes. Linton was my brother and not a day goes by that I don't feel a part of my heart breaking by our loss. This article so far looks to be better than the ramdom comments I have read following the story in the major newspapers. Those article were filled with lies and ugly comments not based on fact.
