15 Injured and 1 Dead in 6 Shootings Overnight

An argument over a female led to the shooting of three men on the Far South Side Saturday night and the death of one of those men. The incident happened at 11:19 p.m. in the 700 block of West 111th Street in the Roseland neighborhood. The three victims -- Hackman, who was shot in the back, a 19-year-old who was shot in the stomach, and a 21-year-old who was shot in his left arm -- got into the argument with several other men, who began shooting and then fled the scene. The three victims were all transported to Advocate Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn. Hackman, was transported in serious-to-critical condition. The 19-year-old was in critical condition and the third man's condition had stabilized. Hackman was declared dead at 12:09 a.m. At the time of his death, Hackman, who has had arrests on misdemeanor charges in the past, was facing a misdemeanor marijuana-posession case in Chicago and was due in court next week.
