A man who was found shot in the head and back this morning on Chicago's Far South Side has died from his injuries, one of five shootings across the city overnight. He was found lying on the ground at about 3:21 a.m. in the 200 block of East 115th Street in the West Pullman neighborhood and was taken in critical condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center and was pronounced dead at 3:45 a.m.


Christopher Walton
30 years old
Walton was shot while sitting in his vehicle in the Little Village Neighborhood. Police said that he was found at 10:33 p.m. on the 2200 block of West 28th Street in the driver's seat of his vehicle with gunshot wounds to his head. He was pronounced dead at 11:17 p.m. at Mt. Sinai Hospital.
