Shannon Byars was shot to death in his vehicle early on June 6th in the Englewood neighborhood on Chicago's South Side. At about 12:45 a.m., police responded to shots fired at 5648 South Morgan Avenue and found Shannon wounded. He was shot in the leg and chest and was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 1:35 p.m.
