Two people were shot at about 11:40 p.m. in the 8100 block of South Winchester Avenue in the Gresham neighborhood on Chicago’s South Side. One of the men, Banks, was found unresponsive on the scene with a gunshot wound to his head. The other, an 18-year-old man was shot in the leg and is listed in stable condition.
Dwight Miller
27 years old
Miller received a call at about 10:10 p.m. asking him to step outside his house to meet someone on his porch in the 7800 block of South Union Avenue in the Far South Side’s Auburn Gresham neighborhood. When he stepped outside, he was shot several times in the face. He was found dead on the scene.
He was the love of my life. I am truely sorry to my baby that she had to lose her dad at such a young age to a coward. Who have sat in our living room and played with my baby. I hope that Eric is dealing with the cards that he is now dealing for himself. The detectives ain't doing shit. But I promise I will never let go Dwight.
