Hughs was shot multiple times at 1053 W. 103rd St. just before 11:00 pm in the Washington Heights neighborhood on the Far South Side Friday night. He was shot through his thigh while he was inside a vehicle. He was pronounced dead at 11:52 p.m. at Advocate Christ Medical Center
